There is truly something special about the bond between a dog and it's owner. We feel blessed to be able to do what we do with our own dogs as well as our furry guests. We truly respect and love dogs, and just want to give them everything they need. Our years of service and positive customer reviews are what makes us stand out from the crowd.
The Original Home-Based Doggy Daycare
Ridgeview Retreat has been in operation since 2012. We are a fully licensed and insured business that is run by established dog minding professionals and Gold Coast locals.

We are proud to be able to offer our doggy daycare services to the region and to share our piece of hinterland paradise with furry friends.

We not only love dogs of all shapes, breeds and sizes, but we also respect them and provide them with what they need beyond cuddles, love and affection. At Ridgeview Retreat, they will be provided with the opportunity to just be a dog! We provide structured socialisation but in a safe and secure environment.

We take great care in spending the time getting to know the owners and as much about the dog as possible before we accept them into our retreat.

A friend recommended Ridgeview about 4yrs ago & now we are a frequent client for our 2 Frenchies. I truely wouldn't take them anywhere else! At least 2 updates with photos each day of them playing is so reassuring. I think they are more spoilt in Aunty Lou's care than ours - sleeping in the house at night & full run of their beautiful acreage with all the other furry friends...even swimming in the pool ... why would they want to leave : ) Highly Recommend

The best doggy daycare on the Gold Coast! My dog Eddie went to Ridgeview Retreat regularly until we moved interstate recently, and he absolutely loved it. The premises is amazing for dogs with the large yard and pool and the fact that the dogs get taken on pack walks is another big plus. The daily photo updates were great. Also, the owners Stephen and Louise are wonderful people. Highly recommended!

Highly recommended! My border collie pup really enjoyed his time here playing in the pool and the huge yard. Thank you for all the photos of Buddy having a great time with all the dogs, big and small. Thank you also for the slip leash, and the leash walking training (for Buddy and also to teach me how to use it properly). He is now walking directly next to me with no pulling or any issues. Definitely will be back at least once per month!

ROOM TO RUN
Three large grassed areas which are fully fenced allows our pooches room to run, play, stretch their legs and get some great exercise.
PLACES TO EXPLORE
If your pooch just loves taking it easy, lazing around and exploring, there are endless opportunities at Ridgeview Retreat for them to do just that all from the comfort of lounges and shady trees.
LOUNGE ROOM
Your furry friend will feel like they haven't left home! With access to indoors for house trained pooches, they get to lounge around at their leisure and they love being together in a pack.

We are unfortunately unable to accommodate the following breeds over the age of 6 months (unless they have boarded with us as a younger puppy):
